OUSING CONSTRUCTION
Plans for developing land plots of central part of Kolomensky District and the city of Kolomna have been drawn up. They were based on detailed analysis of demand for housing, as well as growth prospects and development plans of the Moscow area. According to this estimate, housing facilities of the central part of Kolomensky District are going to be increased by 722,6 thousand square meters (complex housing construction – 498,3 thousand sq. m, low-rise housing construction – 16,0 thousand sq. m, individual housing construction – 208,3 sq. m). Implementation of these areas will provide 26,2 thousand people of permanent population with living conditions. It will also help develop the Moscow area in its entirety, create additional objects for trade, services, production, and develop municipal-transport infrastructure.
OBJECTS OF ECONOMIC ACTIVITY AND EMPLOYMENT OF POPULATION
The following steps are planned, based on the increase of the population quantity of the central part, current demand for goods and services, as well as current level of population employment and estimated increase in unemployment level:
- reclaiming 290 ha of land as economic activity objects in the central part of Kolomensky district, for the following purposes: public business – 24,7 ha, production– 124,4 ha, municipal – 46,6 ha, roadside – 3,1 ha, recreation and sport – 87,4 ha, and other – 1,1 ha;
- through territory reclamation, increasing the number of jobs by 7,3 thousand and thereby improving the district's economic situation;
- creating social infrastructure at the territory reclaimed through involvement of budgetary funds and private investments.
TERRITORY TRANSPORT SERVICE
- M-5 "Ural" – a first-category federal highway with asphalt-concrete coating. Traffic intensity is from 16500 to 28200 cars per day.
- Ryazanskoe highway (used to be a part of M-5 "Ural") – a first-class regional highway with asphalt-concrete coating. Traffic intensity is 1400 cars per day.
- M-5 – Kolomna – M-5 – a first-category regional highway with asphalt-concrete coating. Traffic intensity is 7800 cars per day (in the area of Raduzhny village).
- R-115 Egoryevsk – Kolomna – Kashira – Nenashevo – a second-category regional highway with asphalt-concrete coating. The road links Moscow area south-east regions with those in the south, as well as Moscow area large industrial cities. Traffic intensity is 8500 cars per day.
- Passenger transportation. A widespread network of public transport operates in the central part. The population increase and creation of new public-business and industrial objects taken into account, the increase of public transport vehicle fleet is planned. Involving private investments and organizing additional commercial routes.
